Flora Roberts is a Scottish born artist and designer. Her work is informed by a sensitive observation of nature, following plants and flowers as they come into season. Attention is given to achieving the right colour and texture. She is as much inspired by her Dorset garden as by Dutch still life paintings. Flowers have to be captured before they fade. Spontaneity is part of the process.
Flora’s paintings have been made into murals, wallpaper and interior textiles, as well as designs for perfume and fashion houses. She is committed to her artistic practice of painting from life.
