Description

A candle that looks as good as it smells.

Moro Dabron’s footed and flared vessels are things of beauty, inspired by 8th-century stemcups, and both poured and fired from fine  wine porcelain. This particular fragrance is one of our favourites – Cecile, carrying notes of green leaf, galbanum, geranium, garden rose, leather, cedarwood and moss. They describe it as being late afternoon in an English winter garden.

Once their plant-based wax candle inside has burnt through, it becomes a decorative object in its own right.

Curator's Note:

“I remember when I first came across Moro Dabron back in 2020, falling in love with their Of Gardens fragrance inspired by Francis Bacon’s 1625 essay. I’ve been an avid follower ever since and admire everything they touch.” — Sarah

Moro Dabron

Moro Dabron is a London-based design studio founded by Austin Moro and Eliza Dabron. Their work is defined by proportion, restraint, and a precise material sensibility – how something ages, holds light, and carries weight.

What began with an apothecary of candles and scent – drawn from English gardens and the atmosphere of historic rooms – has evolved into collections of furniture, cloth, and lighting: shaped by the same principles, composed with the same care.
