Homewares brand Tensira is the result of two minds meeting: Guinean Hamidou Diallo and Finnish uulia Makinen Diallo. Blending their business and creative backgrounds and drawing upon Hamidou’s mother’s influence as an indigo dye artist, they established Tensira to honour African craftsmanship. Core to their process is sustainable production and respect for the environment, using only 100% hand-spun, hand-woven, and hand-dyed cotton to create a market that keeps alive West African tradition.
