Description

A statement necklace that features undulating sizes of baroque and rice keshi pearls that’s designed, cast and made in London. It’s strung with a hand-carved hook closure – a style favoured by the ancient Egyptians and one of the oldest type of clasp. Every pearl is one-of-a-kind, so expect individuality.

Curator's Note:

“There’s much to love about all of Jeannie’s pieces. In the case of this one, it’s freshwater pearls, Miyuki seed beads and 24ct gold Vermeil that ages gracefully with time.” — Katherine

Meet the brand

By my hands

By my hands began as a project to rekindle creativity, and a love of natural materials. Everything is made from founder Jeannie’s home studio in East London in small batches. High quality materials, combined with traditional techniques like knotting and lost wax casting, are used to create pieces that feel special to wear and hold. Multitudes of colours and textures found in sheer stones, irregular pearls and hand-carved precious metals detail Jeannie’s jewellery, a creative who knows to never underestimate the impact of little details, designing with ‘child-like joy and gratitude’ with every creation.
